splint is a gauze covered with plaster granules that activate and become soft when in contact with water. Within about 5 minutes, the plaster begins to harden. Gypsum hardens 100% within approximately 24 hours. Gypsum can be used on all parts of the body. Gypsum is available in several width sizes: 5 - 7.5 - 10 cm.
